Weekend Recap

Happy Monday!

Friday morning, we woke up and Gideon was NOT feeling good.. Super clingy and super cranky.  Poor thing.  So, I didn't make it to my work out class, but I did get some super sweet snuggles in with my man.
After a good nap (like over 2 hours!) he was all smiles and his new thing is playing in the clothes in our closet..

Friday afternoon, there was a Harvest Carnival at Homestead Manor which is super close to our house.  It's an old home turned farm-to-table restaurant.  They have a huge barn next door that is used for our Farmer's Market on Wednesdays and events, etc.  They have a huge garden and chicken coup in the back (that's where we are always seeing the chickens if you follow us on snapchat).

We took fun pictures, painted pumpkins, ran through a hay maze and checked in on our chickens!

(See that teeeeee tinnnnny girl out there - that's Ruby!)
This girl is ALWAYS a blur!

 I can't handle this CHEEEEEEEESEE!!
After the Harvest Festival, we all needed bath's and it was off to bed!
Is there anything cuter that a baby booty???

We were up early Saturday morning for the Disney Character breakfast at the middle school near us.

Giddy ate breakfast ate home ... or should I wore his breakfast.

It was so so great! There were so many princesses and characters! They would just break out in song and everyone was so so kind to Ruby!

You can imagine RG was in HOG HEAVEN.
They sang Let it Go, just for her. It was so sweet.
The rest of Saturday was spent working on Halloween costumes, watching football and getting our kitchen cabinets painted!

Sunday we woke up for church, got ready, went to Lowe's, went to church, came home and passssssed out!

Church looked like this bc........
Gideon has been in a mega sleep funk lately and this is MEEEEEEE.
He doesn't do GREAT in the nursery... and because he hasn't been feeling well, I felt like it wasn't fair to those poor nursery workers to just throw a fussy baby at them and run!  So we watched church from the tv in the lobby with Gideon... at least we made it in the doors, right? #forsuchatimeasthis
Stephen's grill completely fell apart a couple of weeks ago when we tried to move it. Like just crumbled to the ground. It is 7 years old and has made it thru 7 moves - we definitely aren't complaining! So.... daddy got a new grill and he is in heaven!

Last but not least... we rounded out the weekend playing in the backyard! Stephen is definitely the more fun parent.....

(Sorry for the pic thru the screen)

Today we have dance class! Ruby's favorite part of the week!

Have a great week!
