Friday, Stephen took off work so we could have what we like to call a "badger day." Which usually means pajamas, food, nap repeat... oh wait, we have kids... so usually just pajamas until someone pees/poops in their diaper/underwear, spits up, spills something, etc.
After naps, we wanted to go to the pumpkin patch... one was closed and the other one was not going to work out bc the kids napped at different times all day... so... we went to Kroger for pumpkins!! 😂😂 thankfully our kids are young enough to not know the difference. (They were buy 1 get 1 free too!) #parentsoftheyear
I After we picked our pumpkins we went for dinner at Hwy55 -- a diner that reminded me a little too much of Xan's Diner. 😳😬
Saturday morning we woke up to some beautiful fall weather!! We decorated our Kroger pumpkins and played outside!
The painter finished my kitchen cabinets!! Before & after (not great pics -- but it looks so great!)
Sunday morning we woke up and enjoyed a little more fall weather!
Stephen's boss, Mr. Dan, gave us his Titans football tickets and we were so excited to go!!
On the way home from the Titans game, the kids fell asleep in the car... and Stephen and I thought we would go drive around and find a restaurant with outdoor seating and parking close by so we could leave them in the car & let them sleep.... well we found one! #bestparentsaward
(Disclaimer: the car was running, the window was down, we could see in & we checked on them frequently -- no shame in our game.) We are looking forward to a busy week ahead and heading to Starkville this weekend!
