Friday favorites!

Happy Friday! I've decided that 3 times a week updating is a little much... so I have decided to stick to Friday favorites. I can just post the best of the best from our week!! 

Up first is one of my FAVORITE faces! Sweet leaf eating Giddy boy! 

This is the kids FAVORITE thing to do right now... they love to "Drive." (FYI - the car is not on, the doors are unlocked, the windows are rolled down and I am standing right by every second. K? Thanks.)

 

Ruby's FAVORITE but not Gideon's... obviously. This Santa was so great! He told RG that Elsa & Olaf live near him! Oh she about died right there!!

Another mama FAVORITE... I'm getting crafty again and it feels so good! I love the challenge of coordinating outfits. Ha!

 

Ruby had "wear your favorite team jersey" to school. So of course we went all out bulldog! Her FAVORITE thing to yell is "Gooooo Bullgogs!!!!!"

 

Oh ok definitely NOT a FAVORITE is this sweet boy's ear infection. But I am so thankful that we found out what is wrong with him and why he has been off so much! So, RG never had an ear infextion and this is his first (he is almost 10 months old)! 

 

RG had a thanksgiving feast at MDO yesterday! It was so sweet! But she woke up wanting "Cindy Lou who hair" sooooo last minute floral wire and BAM! What else ya got sister??? Her FAVORITE hairstyle!

 

We are heading to MS for thanksgiving this week! Happy thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for! 

Thursday Favorites?

Hello!

I'm sorry I have been MIA.  We haven't had too much going on lately.  Gideon has been kinda sickly so we have been home a lot.  Also, Ruby is almost 3 and I'm having to get a grip on the fact that I have a threenager.  Hashtag lots of spankings.

A favorite around here lately is cinnamon sugar toast.  Between me and RG and Giddy boy, we can throw back a loaf of bread. Seriously. Check out this sugar beard RG has going.

Gideon upgraded to a new carseat (bye bye infant seat - I will miss how convenient you are, but not how heavy you are.)  I don't have a picture of it because we haven't really settled in yet... But here's hoping that it will help him not LOATHE the car as much as he does.

One of my favorites right now is the Milkful Lactation Bars.  If you know me, you know I love all things pregnancy, birth and babies.  I want to be a lactation consultant -- when I grow up.  But since I can't have dairy right now with nursing Gideon, these are the best snacks.  They are healthy and help encourage milk supply - especially during these growth spurt/teething spasms. This is a Christian lady who created these bars and I love to help out a small business. Check her out - if it's something you are needing! 

Another favorite right now is The Crown, on Netflix.  Oh man, I love all things royal.  It really is so good and so many great actors! Since the election is over, I need something to fill my mind :) 

Next favorite is a mini van.  Y'all I want one so bad.  I want to test drive the Pacifica.. Mainly because we love the commercials. Seriously I never thought I would want one.. but with RG already screaming on the back seat "GIDEON IS LOOKING AT ME!!!!!!" I can tell we will need some space back there sooner than later.... ha!

Last favorite is Christmas decorations.  I do not skip Thanksgiving. I just want to go ahead and get that out there.  I love Thanksgiving - it's actually my favorite.  But there are little Thanksgiving decorations and no thanksgiving music.  So. I have a TON of Christmas decor and if I don't get it out shortly after Halloween it doesn't feel like I truly get to enjoy it all.  So here are a few inspirations for me this year.  I love whimsical, bright colors... and I will share pictures of my decor once I get it all finished! 

Friday Favorites!!

One of RG's FAVORITE friends -- Sweet Ellie and her mama came to see us on Wednesday! Man, Ruby & Ellie go wayyy back! (See pic below) 😂😂😂 they are two peas in a pod. Spirited girls and they are so fun! They are a big part of what makes Nashville so much fun for us!!  We met at the church we were going to downtown Nashville and we have been close friends ever since! We actually met Ellie in the back of church because both of our girls were acting crazy!!! 😂This picture was one of the first times we hung out with Ellie!   

My FAVORITE morning face! This is how I found RG when she woke up Thursday morning. Somehow she had on her dress shoes that she wore in Seth & MK's wedding?? Y'all, this girl. I'm telling you. She is so funny! (Also, take note of all the pacis! 🙄) 

Ok, now... y'all. This is everyone's FAVORITE! Y'all RG NEVER EVER naps at school. Like it's a problem. We have been talking to her about it. She distracts other kids from napping. (Imagine that.) anyway. She napped today! A teacher from another class got her to sleep and when I went to pick her up... I found this! Lights on, kids awake & talking & playing.... and Ruby is out. Like completely asleep. Here is Gideon's FAVORITE boss! 😂😂 Poor thing, RG bosses him around so much!  And these are my FAVORITE little fingers!!! She had me paint her nails pink with glitter 😍😍. Also, take note of those Christmas pj's. She is a girl after my own heart. She keeps asking to "play Christmas."

Last but not least... RG & Giddy's FAVORITE uncle had a birthday yesterday!!! We 💚 you, Uncle Buck!

Halloween!!

Halloween -- or at our house, Frozenween!!!!

We started off Halloween with RG's dance class.  They did a little halloween program for us the last 10 minutes of class.

This is her class! I can not say enough good things about Ann Carroll School of Dance!! We have so loved our experience there! If you are in the Franklin area and have a child that would love dance... you must try them! Anywho... her teacher Miss Mackenzie is the BEST! Ruby is always talking about "Miss Kenzie." 

And Mrs. Jeanne was dressed as "coronation Anna" haha!

This was our first halloween in our new house/neighborhood.  Y'all! It was the BEST time! Our neighborhood is so great.  There are so many kids/families! I'm just going to leave this riiiiight here...

Thank you Staycha for letting me channel my inner Staycha/Elsa! Ruby just hugged me so tight when I put that dress on.  It was so sweet!

Also, we wanna give a shout out to SCOUT ACKMAN who is now 3 years old. Why and how do these babies grow up so fast?

Weekend Recap

We went to Poplar Creek/Starkville this weekend and I had NO service.  Which is why all of my posting is thrown off.  So here I am, TUESDAY - trying to catch up. 

We had the best weekend in Starkville! Here are some pics to recap our weekend!

 On Friday, we had breakfast at Starkville Cafe!

 Stephen had interviews on campus, so the kids and I hung out on the drill field!

Saturday, we went to the baseball game before the football game! Stephen in his happy place!  I know it will be so much fun for him & Gideon to share the love of this field!

 We were a HOT MESS by game time and didn't even end up going in the game! I guess you win some, you lose some. ha!

Sunday, we went to the Phi Mu house dedication.  It is GAWGEOUS! I mean, I'm so blown away about how beautiful that house is.  I got to see so many sweet faces that were such a big part of my life! (unfortunately not too many pics to show those faces!)

My sweet momma came! I'm so grateful for her!
