Going to the "BEACH"

Stephen and I took a trip to Duluth this Memorial Day weekend! 

I'm so jealous of how Stephen packs....

the left side is his... the right side (and the rest of his side) is mine... Sickening really.

Rocky LEAAAAANSSS on me when we are driving.. and I get squished up against the window.. (ask my mom)

It was BEAUTIFUL!! we drove over the a hill (from a temperature of about 70 that dropped to about 50 as went over the hill) and saw this!

 

We had such a wonderful time! We ate good food and saw beautiful sites! 

Rocky loved it!! There were so many other dogs and he was barking like crazy!

 

This is all around Lake Superior.  Which is AMAZING! Its freshwater, but connects to the ocean! It's HUGE!

The next day we went to the "beach" - which is also weird because it is freshwater.. 

We still made the best of it :)

Then we went "Antique Shopping" (you may have seen my twitter)

and this is Stephen's "find"

Saved by the Bell trading cards? Really?

We also went for a ride over to Wisconsin

Not too impressive to so we didn't stay long :)

We came back to Owatonna on Sunday and relaxed on Monday.  We hung out in our backyard and enjoyed the beautiful day! So thankful for all of those in our families who have served so that we can have such a freedom to be off of work and relax!

We went to one of Stephen's co-workers house to borrow their weedeater.. and look what I found in their yard!

The most BEAUTIFUL peonies!!! They were a huge bush by the guys house!! So I will be back by there to steal fresh ones each week until they are out of season :)
